Police investigate shooting at M&M Bail Bonds

Shreveport police are investigating a shooting today in the 2900 block of Milam.

At 11:45 a.m., a man was being held at the Take A Bag Grocery for non-payment of his bond to M&M Bail Bonds, which is owned by the same person as Take A Bag Grocery. The man apparently did not want to return to jail and instead, began fighting with employees in the business. He grabbed a gun from behind the counter and began firing shots.

No one was injured in the shooting, although the suspect shot the glass out of the door and fled the store. The suspect has not yet been located.
