Police investigate homicide

Shreveport police are investigating the homicide of a 27-year-old Shreveport man.

Charles Williams was found lying in the street in the 1000 block of Pickett with a gunshot wound to the head. Paramedics attempted to save the man, but he was pronounced dead at LSU Hospital.

Police are trying to find out how Williams got to the scene and why he was killed.
