Police investigate one-vehicle accident
Shreveport police are investigating an accident involving a Fouke, Arkansas man who left the roadway and flipped his truck.
David Knox, 38, was driving his 2002 Toyota Takoma pickup north on North Market Street about 2:16 p.m. today when his truck left the roadway, crossed the southbound lanes, hit a SWEPCO pole, a ditch and then flipped.
Knox was taken to LSU Hospital where he is currently undergoing examination.
The accident knocked out power temporarily to residents near the accident scene at North Market and Morris Road. SWEPCO crews were called to the scene to restore power to the neighborhood.
No one else was injured in the accident.
