Police investigate possible homicide/suicide

Shreveport Police are looking into a case that could be a homicide/suicide in southwest Shreveport.

The bodies of Evobe Fontenot and his wife, Loyce Fontenot, were discovered in the living room of their home in the 2500 block of North Cotswold.

There was no forced entry into the home, and preliminary investigation indicates that woman may have been killed by her husband, who then killed himself.

An autopsy will be conducted on the couple, and investigation is continuing into the reason for their deaths. It appears that the two had been arguing, and that Mr. Fontenot’s elderly-related health problems may have been a factor in the incident.
