Police search for burglary suspect

Shreveport police arrested one man and are looking for at least one more in connection with a burglary of Street Creations in the 2700 block of West 70th Street.

The suspects forced entry into the store at about 1 a.m. today by using a blue Monte Carlo that had been stolen a short time earlier. After crashing into the store, officers responded and attempted to apprehend the suspects.

After one of the suspects did not respond to officers’ commands, a Police K-9 was used to apprehend Issac Gray, 19, of the 7100 block of Wallace. Gray received bite wounds to his arms and hands and was taken to LSU Hospital for examination. He has been booked in the Shreveport City Jail on a charge of burglary.

Meanwhile, another suspect fled the scene and is still outstanding. Officers believe the man is James Henderson, 21, of the 7100 block of Burlingame. He is also known as Booger.
