Man found in ditch tentatively identified

Shreveport police believe a man found in a ditch Tuesday is Mark Corbin, a 35-year-old Shreveport man that was reported missing over the weekend.

Corbin was last seen at 3 a.m. Saturday when an acquaintance dropped him off at his apartment in the 3800 block of Parkway. He had been with friends at Flannigans on Kings Highway just prior to that. When he didn’t show up for work at The Village Grille, co-workers reported him missing.

Detectives believe Corbin is the man a jogger found floating in Bayou Pierre Tuesday afternoon. Cause of death has not yet been determined.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 673-7000.
