Female wanted for stealing $14,800 in money orders

Shreveport police need the public’s help in finding Twyla M. Winn, 21, of Shreveport.

Winn is wanted for creating $14,800 worth of "Traveler’s Express MoneyGram" money orders during her shift at the Texaco Day and Night in the 1900 block of North Market Street.

Some of the 36 money orders she created had face values of $500 each. It is believed this crime occurred on Sept. 29. A warrant for her arrest has been issued.

Winn’s last known address is in the 3100 block of Ashton Street. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call Detective Guy Smith at 673-6985 or call Crime Stoppers at 673-7000.
