Missing teen shows up at SporTran terminal

A day after her mother publicly pleaded for her daughter to be returned home safely, Allisha Thomas has been found.

Thomas showed up at the SporTran Terminal downtown at 9:05 a.m. She walked up to the window and told an employee she was the one who had been kidnaped. She reported to police that she has just escaped out of a white two-door vehicle in the downtown area.

Thomas was fine, and detectives are currently working to find out more about the girl and what happened.

She told police this morning that two black males grabbed her from her yard in the 3900 block Liaison Drive and put her in a car. The investigation is continuing, and another update will be given as soon as more information is available.

Thanks to media reports, detectives got several leads on this case. They were working those when the girl showed up at SporTran.
