National Night Out deadline July 27

Residents wanting to participate in Shreveport’s National Night Out should turn in their registration forms by July 27.

National Night Out is from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, this year. The event, which is an annual nationwide crime prevention initiative, is expected to be even bigger and better this year.

Registration forms are available from Shreveport Public Assembly and Recreation Department. Call 673-5100 for an application or to make special arrangements for neighborhood parties, such as requests for street closures.
