Police arrest third ATM theft suspect

The final suspect in the stolen ATM case at Hollywood Casino’s parking garage was booked into the Shreveport City Jail last night on a felony theft charge.

Kevin Elliott, 19, of Beckville, Texas, was located by Panola County authorities on Monday. Elliott stated he wished to turn himself in to Shreveport investigators. He got his wish and was booked into the City Jail about 7 p.m..

Elliott is the third suspect captured on videotape at the casino garage. Jackie Green, 25, of Blanchard and Bobby Ray Henderson, 22, of Carthage also are charged with felony theft. They were arrested in the early morning hours of July 2.

The ATM machine was found in a creek on Farm-to-Market Road 2625 in Harrison County, Texas, this morning.

The ATM heist took place about 1 a.m. on June 25. In the video, a van enters the parking garage, parks on the second level and three men, using a dolly, loaded up an ATM machine and took off.

Citizens’ tips were essential in the case, and the media assisted police greatly by showing the videotape.
