Man stabbed after breaking into home

A man who kicked in the door of an apartment in the 2900 block of Peach Street was stabbed in the neck by the home’s female occupant.

Marlon Coleman, 22, of Shreveport is in fair condition at LSU Hospital. After being stabbed, he fled the apartment and was caught by patrol officers on the property.

He has been charged with aggravated burglary in connection to the incident.
