Police investigate double homicide

Police are investigating the shooting deaths of Anthony Wright, 22, and Nelson Russell, 21, both of Shreveport.

Wright and Russell received fatal wounds during an argument at a home in the 7700 block of Gibson. It is unknown what the motive of the shooting was, but it appeared there was some type of struggle between parties in the home.

The coroner’s office will determine the nature of the victims’ wounds and the types of bullets that were used to kill them. The investigation continues.
