Police arrest woman in home invasion burglary

A 27-year-old Shreveport woman has been arrested and charged with the May 18 home invasion robbery in which one of six victims was shot in the ankle.

Carmon Pehl is charged with armed robbery for the incident that occurred about 3:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Wyandotte. She and an unknown black male allegedly robbed six Hispanic males of money.

During the robbery one of the victims, 27-year-old Salvidor Urtado, attempted to shut a door, which prompted the male suspect to shoot him.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 673-7000.
