Police investigate armed robbery

Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Pel State Fina located in the 3100 block of Hollywood this morning.

The robbery occurred about 9:35 a.m. when a black male entered the store with a silver handgun and demanded money from employees. After getting money, the robber left the store in a blue 90's model, four-door Cutlass with chrome wheels with another black male.

The robber was wearing a red stocking cap, red pocket t-shirt and long shorts. The second suspect had long braids.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 673-7000 or Detective Shawn Parker at 673-6955.
