Police Communications Officers wanted

The Shreveport Police Department is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of Police Communications Officer.

Due to a recent rise in area salaries, the demand for communications officers has increased.

Minimum qualifications begin with an applicant being 21 years of age, a U.S. Citizen and holding a high school diploma or educational equivalent. Starting salary is approximately $1,683 per month. Other benefits include group health plan (optional), dental and retirement plan.

All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply. All applications must be completed and turned into the Human Resources Department, Room 219, of the Shreveport Police Facility by Friday, June 1. The Shreveport Police Department is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
