Five more officers to be promoted

Promotions will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday for five officers who will move up in rank. The ceremony will be held in the Police Assembly Room, located on the second floor of the Shreveport Police Facility. Those being promoted are:

    • Capt. Maurice Head, who will be promoted to Provisional Assistant Chief of Police. He has been with the department since May of 1973.

    • Lt. Mark Johnson, who will be promoted to captain. He has been with the department since November of 1975.

    • Sgt. Eloise J. Lewis, who will move to lieutenant. She has been with the department since December of 1981.

    • Cpl. Shannon F. Parker, who will be promoted to sergeant. She has been with the department since June of 1988.

    • Officer Colette Kelly, who will promote to corporal. She has been with the department since November of 1992.
