Police arrest 3 people for Gilliam Street shooting

Police arrested three Shreveport men late Wednesday on charges of aggravated battery for the shooting of three people in the 1700 block of Gilliam.

Kelvin Green, 25, Brandon Green, 17, and Jaricko Miller, 20, were all arrested and charged with the shooting that occurred on Monday. Injured in the shooting were 66-year-old Eddie Savannah, 27-year-old Jeremie Savannah and 18-year-old Bud Theus.

The victims were in a vehicle parked on Gilliam Street when the suspects reportedly fired on them from down the street. Eddie and Jeremie Savannah were both shot in the hand, and Theus was shot in the back. The injuries were non life-threatening.

The shooting appeared to a retaliation for an earlier incident in which shots were at a house on David Raines Road.
