Police investigate Mooretown homicide

A 60-year-old black male was found deceased in his home in the 4200 block of Mayfield just before noon today.

Police were called to the scene, because the man had not been heard from for several days.

Detectives are treating the man’s death as a homicide, because there was trauma to the body.

Detectives Paul Robinson and Lane Smith are working on the case and say that is all the information that can be released at this time.
