Former Shreveport man charged with child molestation

Shreveport Police Department joined Ruston Police Department and the Caddo Parish District Attorney’s office in arresting 53-year-old Benjamin C. White on child molestation charges.

White, who used to live in Shreveport, is in the Ruston jail on charges that he molested a girl off and on for about four years. The offenses began in Shreveport when the girl was 10 years old. They continued in Shreveport until the girl was 13. They then occurred in Ruston when the child was age 14.

White will be prosecuted in both Ruston and Shreveport for the alleged offenses.
