Woman killed by train

Police are investigating the death of a Bossier City woman who was killed this morning by a train.

Kim Lynn Carrington, 25, of Bossier City was leaving a Commerce Street nightclub about 5:45 a.m. when she encountered a train that was parked briefly on the tracks.

Rather than walking around the train, she tried to walk through the connected train cars. The train then started moving and ran over her.

Carrington was dead at the scene in the 500 block of Commerce Street. Her family has been notified of her death.
