Robbery suspect captured

It took an hour-and-a-half of waiting, but police arrested Eric Chatman today for simple robbery.

Chatman and three other people refused to open the door for police, who went to his home to serve an arrest warrant for the robbery of an individual on Dec. 1.

Finally, Chatman’s mother arrived at the house and was able to talk Chatman into surrendering to police. The others in the home were not arrested.

Chatman is 24 years old and lives at 407 Argyle St. where police picked him up.
