KFC on Hearne Avenue robbed

Police are searching for two black males who robbed the Kentucky Fried Chicken at 4005 Hearne Avenue at 10 a.m. today.

One of the suspects placed an order and then jumped the counter and produced a gun.

The two suspects took off with money from the store, as well as two purses belonging to employees. The suspects fled on foot and were last seen eastbound on Dupont.

The first suspect is described as 5'5" to 5'7" and 150 pounds. He was wearing a gray fisherman’s hat and, plaid flannel shirt and blue jeans. He is believed to be in his late teens or early 20s.

The second suspect is about 5'9" and 160 pounds. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with large white lettering.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 673-7000.
