Woman stabbed by ex-boyfriend

Police are investigating a domestic dispute that turned into a stabbing this morning in the 200 block of West 79th Street.

Debra Williams, 21, told police that the man she had recently broken up with forced his way into her residence, grabbed a steak knife and stabbed her in the right forearm.

Williams was taken to LSU Health Sciences Center.

The boyfriend left the scene on foot, and police are currently trying to locate him.
