Police find carjacked vehicle, question 3 suspects

Shreveport police recovered a maroon Oldsmobile that was carjacked Sunday night and are questioning three suspects in the incident.

Cornelius Floyd, 17, of Shreveport and two juveniles are being questioned about their involvement in the carjacking.

Police were alerted to the car after the victim told police its location. Police chased the suspects to the 600 block of Meadowdale Place where they apprehended the three suspects inside.

The vehicle was carjacked at 70th Street and Southern about 8 p.m. Sunday after two black male subjects approached the car. The 20-year-old female driver, Abijah Clark, gave them the car and was not hurt in the incident.

Police actually located the car early this morning and turned the car over to Clark. But when Clark returned a few hours later to get the car, it was gone.

Exact charges against the suspects have not yet been determined.
