Woman makes false robbery report

A woman claiming she was robbed at a home she was cleaning was arrested and charged with filing a false police report and felony theft.

Shortly after noon today, Twana Walker, 21, of Shreveport reported that a man rang the doorbell to the Thora Street house. The man produced a gun when she answered and demanded items from the residence, she reported.

While inspecting the residence, police discovered video game consoles in the back of a pickup truck that belonged to Walker’s mother-in-law. The video games were among items Walker reported being stolen. Police also recovered $80, which was in Walker’s left shoe.
