Police investigate Church’s Chicken Robbery

Police are searching for two black males who robbed the Church’s Chicken at 8401 Linwood just after midnight.

The suspects robbed the store after one of them appeared at the front window, asking to buy some chicken. Because the store was closed, the restaurant didn’t have chicken. But before the employee could shut the window, the suspect forced it open and crawled through it with a handgun.

Once inside, the suspect put on a ski mask and another robber entered the store. The suspects got money and left through a back door.

The first suspect is described as 5'9" with a very thin build. He has a medium skin tone, low hair cut, blue jeans, brown boots and a red ski mask. The second suspect is described as 5'5" with a thin build. He has a dark skin tone, black jeans and a black leather coat with a hood that was zipped up over his face.
