Police give treats to inner-city youth

At 6:30 p.m., Shreveport police officers will be at Hattie Perry Recreation Center with bags filled with candy for inner-city children. If there are children at the park, the officers will give out the candy there. If there aren't, they will go door to door to deliver the goods.

The treats giveaway is a project sponsored by the Shreveport Police Department and the Louisiana Juvenile Officer's Association.
