Golf tournament to benefit police

A four-person golf scramble will be held at Northwood Golf and Country Club March 20 to raise funds for the Shreveport Police Department's annual awards banquet.

Flights will be played at 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Registration is $300 per team ($75 per person), carts included. Corporate sponsorship is $150 per hole or $400 to sponsor a hole and a team.

Prizes include a $10,000 cash prize, golf equipment, airline tickets, and a cruise. Prizes will be awarded for the first five places in both the morning and afternoon flights.
