Police make drug arrests

Shreveport narcotics officers and members of the Drug Enforcement Agency Task Force have arrested three men on drug charges in the past two days.

Shreveport resident Abraham Ester II, 31, was arrested Thursday night in a yard at 2208 Corbitt after police caught him with 57 pounds of marijuana. The drugs have an estimated street value of $264,000.

Lister is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

On Wednesday, officers arrested two men at a home in the 3800 block of Doris Street after the Street Level Interdiction Unit investigated a drug complaint. Police uncovered 39 grams of crack cocaine, a small amount of marijuana and two firearms. The drugs have an estimated street value of $4,000.

Carlwin Bell, 22, of Shreveport and Nicholas Davis, 20, of Shreveport were both arrested at the Doris Street home. They are charged with possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm while committing a drug-related offense.
