Shreveport Police Department gets 16 new officers

The Shreveport Regional Police Academy graduated 18 recruits today.

The 46^th Basic Training Session graduation ceremony was held at the Fire and Police Auditorium, located in the training academy at 6440 Greenwood Road.

Two of the recruits will work for other departments, while 16 people will serve the Shreveport Police Department.

Those graduating were Jeffrey Allday, Michael Bianco, James Cisco, Darryl Coney, Chad Dailey, Scotty Dalton, John Delgado, Shawn Driggers, Bill Henderson Jr., Keith King Jr., Terrence LeSane, William J. Moore, Angela Pell, Delbert Rhodes, Robert Robinson III, Terence Toney, Chante Wallace and Christopher Yarborough.

Driggers will work for the Oil City Police Department, and Henderson will work for the Greenwood Police Department. All others will work in Shreveport.
