FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Detectives seek suspect in robbery

Shreveport Police detectives are looking for a local man they believe robbed another man at his home in southeast Shreveport last week.

In the early morning hours of October 28, 2009, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a home invasion robbery in the 500 block of Millicent Way. Upon arrival, officers learned that three armed male suspects had entered the victim’s home there and robbed him at gunpoint. Officers were able to get a description of the suspect’s vehicle and a short time later observed that vehicle near the intersection of Lakeshore Dr. and Portland Ave. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle and after a short pursuit, the vehicle crashed at San Jacinto St. and Lakeshore Dr. Officers were able to take one of the suspects, identified as 29 year old Londell Gilliam of the 3000 block of Terry St. in Shreveport into custody, but the other two suspects who fled the crash on foot were able to escape.

Detectives have now obtained arrest warrants for the two suspects they believe committed the robbery on Millicent Way with Londell Gilliam. Late last night officers arrested 24 year old Carlos Hill of the 3000 block of Desoto St. in Shreveport and booked him into the Shreveport City Jail on an armed robbery warrant. Investigators are looking for the third suspect, identified as 20 year old Shontravious Rogers of the 3000 block of Pouncy St. in Shreveport. Rogers has a warrant outstanding for his arrest as well charging him with one count of armed robbery. The bonds for both men are set at $250,000.

This investigation is ongoing and detectives need your help to locate this suspect. Anyone having any information regarding Shontravious Rogers is urged to call Shreveport Police Detective Jack Miller at 318-673-6955 or Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
