Shreveport Police investigating early morning kidnapping, rape Shreveport Police officers are investigating a kidnapping and rape that occurred this morning in central Shreveport. At approximately 5:05 a.m. this morning, a 32 year old female flagged down a Shreveport Police patrol officer near Kings Hwy and Barret reporting she had been abducted and raped. The victim advised officers that at approximately 4:15 a.m. this morning, she was on E. Texas St. in Bossier City walking to Shreveport when a male suspect driving a four door burgundy sedan with large rims and tinted windows pulled over and offered her a ride. Due to the cold temperatures, she accepted the ride and got in the car with the suspect. The suspect then drove the victim into Shreveport and exited I-49 possibly at King's Hwy. The victim advised that the suspect pulled into a parking lot near the interstate and produced a silver handgun. The suspect forced the victim to disrobe and then sexually assaulted her. After the assault, the suspect forced the victim out of the vehicle and fled the scene. Detectives need your help in identifying and apprehending this violent criminal. He is described as a black male in his early-twenties, approximately 5' 10" tall, skinny build with short hair. He possibly has a gold tooth. Please call the Shreveport Police Department immediately if you have any information about this suspect at 318-673-7300 ext.3 or Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
