Shreveport Police seeking armed robbery suspect

Shreveport Police need your help in identifying and apprehending a suspect who robbed a convenience store in early October.

At approximately 12:55 a.m. on the morning of October 5, 2009, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the Stop and Shop in the 4900 block of Jewella. A witness told investigators that a male suspect wearing a light blue windbreaker, blue jeans and a “Scream” mask, armed with a small, silver semi automatic handgun entered the store and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money and stealing a handgun from the business, the suspect fled the scene of the crime on foot.
