Shreveport Police report missing weapon

Shreveport Police have discovered a department issued weapon missing and presume it to be stolen.

Within the last 24 hours, officers discovered that a Heckler and Koch .40 caliber MP5 firearm is missing and presumed to be stolen. The gun is a specialty weapon and is not carried on a daily basis. Investigators are working at this time to determine the specifics of how the weapon came to be stolen. Please see photographs of a similar weapon attached.
