Shreveport Police arrest suspect in separate Family Dollar robbery, seek another Shreveport Police have arrested another suspect in connection with a separate robbery of a Family Dollar store.
Shreveport Police detectives have arrested 23 year old Patrick Parish of the 200 block of Dalzell in Shreveport in connection with the October 10, 2009 robbery of the Family Dollar in the 3700 block of W. 70th St. and booked him into the Shreveport City Jail on one count of principal to armed robbery. Investigators located Parish this afternoon at a home in the 3600 block of Lakeshore Dr. and he was taken into custody without incident. Detectives are now seeking 22 year old Lamarshea Ashley of the 1700 block of Kelsey in Shreveport who has a warrant outstanding for his arrest charging him with one count of armed robbery in connection with the same October 10, 2009 robbery of the Family Dollar in the 3700 block of W. 70th St.
To clarify information released by detectives, 24 year old Jerry G. Moore was arrested and charged yesterday with three counts of armed robbery in connection with the robberies of three Family Dollar Stores, one in the 3700 block of Lakeshore Dr., one in the 2600 block of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr., and one in the 6700 block of Pines Rd. The robbery of the Family Dollar store in the 3700 block of W. 70th St. is going to be a separate robbery and while the robber conducted himself in a similar manner, investigators believe Ashley and Parish are responsible for the last robbery on W. 70th St. and are not connected to Jerry G. Moore.
A mug shot of Patrick Parish will be released as soon as he is processed into the jail system.
Anyone having any information regarding Lamarshea Ashley is urged to call Shreveport Police Detective Josh Feliciano at 318-673-6955 or Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373. -spd- View all SPD press releases at www.shreveportla.gov |
