Shreveport Police looking for bank robber Shreveport Police are looking for a man who robbed a downtown Shreveport bank this afternoon.
At approximately 1:02 p.m., patrol officers were dispatched out to the Regions Bank in the 300 block of Texas Ave. relative to a robbery. Upon arrival, officers learned that a male suspect entered the bank and gave a note to one of the tellers demanding money. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and subsequently fled the scene. No one was injured during this robbery.
Police detectives are now asking for your help in locating this bank bandit. He is described as a black male approximately 6'0" to 6’2” tall. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a dark sweatshirt with white writing on it and light blue pants. The suspect apparently discarded his sweatshirt as he fled the scene of the crime and it has been recovered by officers as evidence.
