Police search for burglar

Shreveport Police Investigators have identified the suspect responsible for the burglary of First Methodist Church on Common Street where thousands of dollars of computer equipment, VCRs, televisions and food were taken from offices and child care areas.

With the help of a Crime Stopper's tip, lead investigators were able to confirm the suspect's true identity and recover much of the stolen equipment, including perishable food items, from a nearby residence.

Wanted is Matthew "Moose" Casey, B/M, 5'9", 160 lbs, 4/29/61, last known address of 1400 Clay, who is a multiple offender with numerous outstanding warrants for his arrest and is currently on parole.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $600.00 reward for information leading to the arrest of Casey.
