Shreveport Police investigating tobacco store burglary

Shreveport Police need your help to solve the burglary of a tobacco store in North Shreveport.

At approximately 1:16 a.m. on October 6, 2009, two suspects broke into the Discount Tobacco Outlet located in the 3100 block of N. Market. Investigators believe the offenders approached the rear of the business and breached a cinder block wall creating a hole in the rear wall of the business. Video surveillance footage then shows the first offender entering the business by crawling through the hole in the wall. Upon entry into the business, one of the offenders looks up at the video camera and then reaches up and grabs the camera, removing the dome and turning the lens. The offenders are then seen on another camera, as one of the offenders crawls toward the front of the business and the second offender stands toward the rear of the business. The offenders then leave the business.

The surveillance footage will be in the media box at the patrol desk.
