*** Update*** Police search for man

Update on Police pursuit from yesterday.

Shreveport Police acting on a Crime Stopper tip, arrested a man this morning in connection with yesterday's high speed pursuit though Shreveport.

Antonio Moore, Black Male DOB 8-1-1979, was arrested shortly after 10:30 this morning in the 2400 block of Texas Ave. Moore is currently in the City jail facing charges of Possession of Stolen Things, Aggravated Flight from a police officer, Possession of Schedule II narcotics and Hit and Run.

At the time of his arrest, Moore was on probation, and was a registered sex offender.

One man is under arrest this afternoon, and police are searching for another man after he led police on a high-speed pursuit. The chase began at the corner of Valley View and Mansfield in west Shreveport, when a traffic unit tried to stop a stolen truck. The driver continued to lead police in a lengthy pursuit before crashing at Vivian and Virginia.

The suspect, is described as a black male approximately 5’9”, weighing between 160 and 170 pounds wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. The suspect’s hair was low cut and in braids. The suspect was last seen running from the wrecked stolen truck eastbound on Vivian.

While officers searching for the suspect, a concerned citizen called 9-1-1 and told dispatchers the suspect ran into a house in the 2500 block of Vivian. Officers gained consent to search the house, and in doing so found 22 grams of Marijuana in the attic. After retrieving the Marijuana, Anthony Dotie, Black Male DOB 11-18-1989, was arrested for Possession of Schedule I Narcotics.

During the pursuit, one Shreveport Police Officer fired a single round striking at the fleeing vehicle.
