Police need public help in finding man

Shreveport Police need the public's help in finding a man wanted for Aggravated Battery.

On September the 26th of this year Shannon Lamar Dennis and another man, Artie McBride got into a fist fight. Police responded to Schumpert Hospital and took a statement from McBride.

Dennis is accused of punching Artie McBride several times in the face until McBride lost consciousness.

Dennis is described as a Black Male, DOB 12-22-1971, who has a cross tattoo on his forehead. Dennis stands approximately 5'8" in height and weighs 170 pounds and has a medium complexion.

Dennis has been known to drive a Brown El Camino or Grey Impala sedan.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Shannon Lamar Dennis is asked to call Detective Ruddell at 673-6955 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
