Shreveport Police seek carjacking suspect

Shreveport Police need your help in locating a man wanted in connection with a carjacking.

Shreveport Police detectives are looking for 26 year old Anthony Fisher of the 100 block of W. 80^th St. in Shreveport relative to a warrant outstanding for his arrest charging him with one count of carjacking. There is no bond attached to the warrant. Investigators believe Anthony Fisher and two other men beat 46 year old Verge Bedford and then stole his 2006 Pontiac G6 back on September 26, 2009 at approximately 2:15 a.m. in the 1600 block of Woodrow. Detectives subsequently arrested 20 year old Christopher Fisher of the 1600 block of Woodrow in Shreveport, and 19 year old Joseph Fisher of the 1600 block of Virginia in Shreveport, and charged each of the men with one count of carjacking.

Detectives now need your help in locating Anthony Fisher. Anthony Fisher is described as a black male, approximately 5’ 5” tall and weighs about 180 lbs.
