Police seek suspect in Circle K Armed Robbery

Shreveport Police need the public's help in finding a man who robbed a Circle K at gun point yesterday shortly after 4:30 in the morning in the 6000 block of west 70th.

The Suspect, described as a black male He was wearing a tan pull over shirt, blue jeans, a brown knit cap, had a ruddy complexion, short beard, drove up and waited by the station for airing up tires until customers left the business.

The suspect then pulled up by the front doors in a yellow Oldsmobile possibly a Delta 88, 4 doors, older model and parked. The suspect entered the store and went to the candy aisle, where he got some candy.

The suspect then went to the cash register and pulled a black semi-automatic pistol from his waist band and demanded money. The clerk gave him an undetermined amount of cash from the register.

Before leaving the store the suspect demanded some cigarettes. The clerk handed him 2 cartons of cigarettes.

The suspect then left the store with the cash and cigarettes.
