Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Agents make ICE Bust
Members of the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit arrested three people Monday morning. Monday's arrests came about from information gather in the course of an earlier drug bust.
Around 10:30 AM Monday morning officers of the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit went to the Travel Lodge Motel in the 2100 block of Greenwood Road and arrest one man. Mathew Hart, White Male DOB 6-30-1982, was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of Schedule II narcotics with Intent to Distribute. Hart over 50 Baggies containing 26 grams of methamphetamine with a street value of over 2600 dollars. Hart also had over $1500 in cash on his person.
On top of the Possession with intent to Distribute charge Hart was also charged with:
No Brake Lights
No Drivers License
Expired License Plate
Failure to Register Vehicle
No Insurance
Expired Inspection Sticker
Switched License Plate and
No Seatbelt
Mathew Hart has a long criminal history with over 22 arrests, including 4 felonies dating back to 2001.
While officers were arresting Hart, two other individuals who had spent their morning at a local casino, arrived at the motel and were also placed under arrest.
Jonathan Ward, White Male DOB 11-18-1983 from Texarkana Arkansas, was arrested after officers found nearly 31 grams of methamphetamine in his possession. Ward is Charged with Possession of Schedule II Narcotics with Intent to Distribute.
Roy Bishop, White Male DOB 12-17-1960 from Ashdown, Arkansas, was arrested on two outstanding warrants. One of the Warrants was from Little River Country Sheriff's Office in Arkansas and the second warrant was probation violation.
