Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit seizes cocaine, cash

Agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit executed search warrants at two Shreveport residences this evening as part of an ongoing investigation into the criminal distribution of narcotics.

The three month long investigation began after agents received information regarding the distribution of cocaine in Shreveport’s Stoner Hill neighborhood. Based on evidence gathered during t he investigation, agents served search warrants at homes in the 500 block of E. Stoner and the 1600 block of Easy St. this evening around 6:00 p.m. As a result of the searches, agents were able to seize approximately $1500.00 in cash, 26.5 ounces of suspected powder cocaine, and one ounce of suspected crack cocaine. The seized cocaine has a street value of about $85,000.

The following suspects were arrested in connection with this investigation and booked into the Shreveport City Jail:

Waco Collins, 32 years old, of the 1900 block of W. Jordan in Shreveport, charged with one count of possession of a Schedule II narcotic with int ent to distribute and one count of open container violation.

Timothy Williams, 31 years old, of the 1300 block of Fullilove in Bossier City, charged as fugitive from the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Agents advise that more narcotics charges will be forthcoming against both suspects.
