Property Crimes Arrest

Police have arrested two people and closed nearly ten burglary cases in the process.

Officers working a tip arrested Alexis Semon, White Female DOB 08-23-89, last week after they discovered items stolen from cars in South Shreveport between September the 14th and 15th.

Semon was booked into the city jail on one count of Illegal Possession of Stolen Things after a search of her hotel room revealed a stolen credit card and cell phone.

Semon's Brother Adam Eichelberger, White Male DOB 10-10-1986, was already in the Caddo Correctional Center. Eichelberger was arrested after a tip led detectives to his whereabouts.

Shreveport detectives responded, but were unable to arrest him because the car burglaries were committed outside the city limits.

The arrest of Semon and Eichelberger closes 9 known car burglaries, but detectives have recovered items from several other burglaries they did not know about.

Semon and Eichelberger stole items left in cars in South Shreveport and in the Parish from vehicles which were not locked up. The Shreveport Police wold like to remind people to lock their cars and to remove any items which would entice a burglar.
