VICE arrests 5 for Prostitution

Members of the Shreveport Police Departments VICE unit arrested 5 women last night during a Prostitution round-up.

Undercover agents made contact with women who were offering to sexual favors in exchange for money. Once agents had enough evidence on tape, the arrest team moved in and placed the women under arrest.

In all, 5 women were arrested for prostitution and 2 of the five were charged with Drug Paraphernalia.

Among the arrested were:

Jacki Higgins, White Female DOB 12-4-1969, on count of Prostitution and one count of Drug Paraphernalia.

Latisha Avery, Black Female DOB 10-10-1976, on one count of Prostitution.

Courtney Carter, Black Female DOB 9-21-1976, on one count of Prostitution and one count of Drug Paraphernalia.

Sonja Riley, Black Female DOB 2-8-1972, on one count of Prostitution

Janice Robinson, Black Female DOB 8-31-1976, on one count of Prostitution
