Missing woman found deceased

Arkansas authorities have located the body of a Shreveport woman reported missing last Friday.

Shreveport Police detectives were contacted yesterday by the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office regarding their discovery of the body of 41 year old Stacey Lewis. Officials with the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office reported to Shreveport investigators that their deputies received a call yesterday morning around 9:00 a.m. regarding a suspicious vehicle in the south part of the county. Upon arrival, deputies located a 1992 Toyota pick up truck and subsequently located the body of Stacey Lewis inside of the vehicle. Lewis had suffered a single gunshot wound and Sevier County deputies report they believe the wound is self inflicted, but the investigation is ongoing.
