Police seek man, 2 children

Shreveport Police and area law enforcement agents are looking for a subject wanted for the 2nd Degree Battery on a 3 year old. Details are limited, but Zachary Barnes (see attached) has been on the run with his two daughters, ages 4 and 6 since approximately 12 noon, when emergency personnel were contacted from the Wal-Mart at Pines Rd., regarding another child, age 3, not breathing. The 3 year old was transported to LSUHC and the other children are considered to be in danger. Suspect has been arrested in Pueblo, Colorado and Oklahoma areas and may be trying to return.

No further information at this time. Anyone having any knowledge of the suspect are encouraged to call Shreveport Police Department, 911 or any local law enforcement agency.
