Narcotics Team makes big prescription drug bust

A two-month investigation by the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task Force has resulted in the seizure of more than $9,000, one arrest and over 600 prescriptions pills packaged for distribution. Derrick Davis, 30 years old, (01-26-78) is the source of distribution of the prescription narcotics through Shreveport.

The case ended on Friday, 09-12-08 with a search warrant that was executed at Derrick Davis’s residence located at 3809 Marrow, Shreveport, LA. The convicted felon was found to be in possession of a handgun, over $9000 in cash, 4.7 grams of Marijuana, 80 Lortab (Sch. III), 47 Oxycontin 80 mg. (Sch. II), 287 Methadone (Sch. II), 200 Xanax (Sch. IV), digital scales.

Convicted Felon in Possession of a firearm

Possession of Sch. I with Intent

Possession of Schedule II with Intent to Distribute

Possession of Schedule III
