Shreveport Police arrest one robbery suspect, still seeking two others

Shreveport Police detectives have arrested a Shreveport man in connection with the robbery of a west Shreveport convenience store and are still looking for two others who are wanted for the same robbery.

Back in the early morning hours of August 25, 2009, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the Circle K in the 6000 block of W. 70^th St. A witness told investigators that two black male suspects armed with handguns entered the store and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspects fled the business.

Detectives were able to identify the two men they believe are responsible for this robbery and subsequently secured warrants for their arrest. Investigators are looking for 29 year old Travis Cox of the 6100 block of Tierra in Shreveport and 28 year old Jerome Pipkins, also of the 6100 Tierra. Both men have an armed robbery warrant outstanding for their arrest. The bond on both warrants is set at $250,000. Detectives believe the men should be considered armed and dangerous.

As they continued their investigation, detectives have arrested another man they believe was involved in the robbery. Investigators have charged 20 year old Archie Moore of the 6100 block of Tierra in Shreveport with one count of principal to armed robbery and booked him into the Shreveport City Jail this morning. Cox and Pipkins are still at large.
